Meek M. Hamilton, 76, went home to be
with Jesus, Thursday, February 25, 2010, in the Beckley
Veterans Memorial Hospital, Beckley.
Born May 14, 1933, in Bland, Va., he
was the son of the late Hubert and Argie Hamilton of
Pineville, W.Va.
He was Pastor and Founder of the
Jesus Way Church for 33 years. He was awarded an honorary
Doctor of Divinity degree from United Christian Church
Association in Cleveland, TN. He also evangelized and had tent
services for about 20 years. He and wife, Lina, and Assistant
Pastor James and Alice Owens traveled throughout WV and VA,
offering ministry services to the community. The rewards
of this labor were immeasurable to the communities and
individuals.
